Removing the bold weight from linked headings

 July 7, 2017
by Flavio Mester

If you choose to display your links in bold and you have linked heading e.g. blog post titles, you may want to remove the bold from them. The setting in Design > Text > Links > Special options will now not only remove underlines but also the bold from linked headings.

Displaying a different logo when people switch to the 2nd language on a bilingual website

If your website is built on our latest framework, it’s bilingual and you have separate logos for each language, you can now change the logo image whenever people switch languages. To do so:

  1. Create a separate logo image for the second language, and add _fr to its name. So if for instance your first language logo image is called is mylogo.png the second language image should be mylogo_fr.png
  2. Add both images to the website’s Assets Manager
  3. Edit the Page Properties of your website’s Home page, and in the Banner tab set it to use your first language logo. In this example, it would be the mylogo.png image.

That’s it. The system will display mylogo.png for the first language (e.g. English) and mylogo_fr.png for the second (e.g. French).

Note: _fr should be used for your secondary language image regardless of it being French or not; we just use _fr because we’re a Canadian company.
